BHS class of 52'...Had a great childhood in Pedro Miguel, circa 1939-1949 and then moved to Balboa through BHS in 52' and the following year in an apprenticeship at Rodman Naval Station before leaving the CZ for College, Military Service, and career in 53'. This site is a terrific place to catch a glimpse of home after all these years. I'll be here often and perhaps surface a few old and "new" friends.

Born in the Zone, a St. Mary's Survivor, BHS grad of '64, CZC attendee '65. 20 year occupant at "B's" in Ancon, some of you may remember hanging out there regularly or stopping by on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve or sometime during Carnival.
My dad is now 81 and living in Dothan, Alabama along with many other Zone families. Since my mom died (10 years ago) he's helped raise the daughter of one of the local kids who found "B's" Alabama site. If you remember "Mr. B" please drop me a line and I'll pass them along to him - he could use some fond memories as his health is failing.

Great site design - good use of graphics, navigation is easy and forms are a nice touch.

What a site!!! Randy and I have only been on the internet for a about 3 weeks and we have found friends we haven't seen since we left Panama in 1982!!! Yes, we are still married!! Ha Ha!! 21 years in Sept.!!! Where have the years gone!!! We have a 16 yr. old and TWINS 10 yr.old all boys!!! We have lived here in the Northwest in the same house for 15 yrs. COLD!!!!!! Randy is a Nuclear Toolmaker for the Pudget Sound Naval Shipyard and we have our own business (a Machine Shop, of course) in the garage!! We keep pretty busy with the business and the boys!! Ha Ha!!

'73 BHS. '75 CZC. It seems you never appreciate things you did in your teens until your forties. Nostalgia is a potent potion. I was a military kid, so not a real Zonian. Interned at SCN-TV and started my career in television. Haven't seen newscasters in uniform since! Played in bands with Mark Melendrez, Ralph Siaca, Dan Heitzhausen (remember the red Dodge van?), and Dan Desandro (a real zonian).

1955-1956 Ancon, CZ
1956-1958 Christobal, CZ Again one of the last families to move when town was turned over to Panama
Was among the last classes to attend the old Christobal High.

Thanks for the memories. It was nice to see so many familiar names Listed and so many doing well.
Had a lot of chuckles and memories flooded back."Chasing behind the DDT Truck" it is amazing we all didn't get killed
or hit by a car. But it was no worst than stealing Mom's paring knife and a tuperware salt shaker and climbing the old mango tree
down by the Los Rios School, picking green mangos and peeling them. Ha yes, don't forget adding a little pepper to the shaker.
But in all fairness, I did get mango rash from the sap. Guess I managed to live with that. Adios old friends.
