Marie Gibson mentioned to me in a recent e-mail note that I should checl it out. I've been back living in the US only since April 1, moving back after living in Tokyo, Japan and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Was keeping in contact with numerous former '64 BHS classmates, but this is better.
Unfortunately will note make this years reunion since I will be leaving for Indonesia July 3 and not return umtil July 31. I will check out the site from there occasionally as I always travel with a laptop...

I was stationed in the Zone from 70-75, with the Army at Albrook AFB PAD area.

CHS'67 Fishing for snook w/2 gates open at the Spillway-hunting the "Spring trail" at first light, diving off of Pina and below the Fort at the mouth of the Chagres, Cerro Punta, Nueva Suisa, trout fishing on the Chiriqui Viejo. Well, I have found the next best thing. The "Great Northwest" is a lot like the Volcan area except for the rain and long winter. It was good to see some familiar names. Matt...again, I must express my undying gratitude. On Thursday, we held a little mini reunion in the middle of my own living room. I broke bread with Randy Henderson BHS '74, Raine Williams BHS, Cheri (Daisey) Henderson BHS 75, and Wanda (Ewell) Melter BHS '75. Before the day was out, we had also had phone conversations with Perry (Jim) Jennings BHS '74 and Vonnie Coombs BHS '75. All of this was because of your Zonian page. I rassed up the first time, sorry. I am the Legislative Rep for the PC Society and have gotten the Official Site approved and have more improvements coming. I really need to find out if there is any interest in a Panama Canal Memorial Museum, and if the Society should sponsor a major initiative for such a project. I lived in Panama for 3 years 1958-1961. My Dad was in the Army, we lived in Ft. Clayton where he was Post Engineer. I loved it. There was always something to do. It was also a beautiful place.

My Dad was stationed at Albrook AFB from 1970-1976. I am in the Class of '77. Have so many wonderful memories of Panama and the Canal Zone. My brother, Sister and a friend Kiki Gonzales-Kisar ('76) will be visiting Panama next month. It's been 21 years since we've been there and can't wait. Am looking forward to eating Pizza at Napoli's. I'm told it's still there.

The Dohle's lived in Panama for alittle over 20years.
Skip(Navy) Robert, Mark, David, Sissy, Judy, Jane,(twins) John, Craig, and the last of the Dohle's Georgia. We lived at Gulick and Ft. Randouph and we finally moved in 1970 to Ft. Davis. I knew alot of GI's friends who I played tennis, golf with. Had a great time and really miss those times.
I really miss the water and the fishing. I hope some can help me, I'm looking for Raymond Ramos, He graduated in 1972. Also Ricky Winkeller

Swimming at lunch time in the "blue hole" near the Old
Cristobal High...Cristobal Elementary...Cub Scouts, Junior NRA
Rifle Range in the basement of Cristobal High...Delivering the
Star&Herald at 6 am in Cristobal and Colon, then going to school
after riding my bike from Margarita..and of course ushering in the
Margarita theatre...The Oasis...The Nursery School on the

Matthews, I'm sorry about the crash. Glad you got the page back online.
I was born in Colon and attended St. Joseph's Parochial High School. I graduated in 1958. Right after graduation, I was employed on the Cristobal Docks where I worked for 14 of my 19 years service with The Panama Canal Company.
I wish to make contact with any Colonese and/or former students of the high school I attended. If anyone out there knows of someone who attended St.Joseph, please give them my e-mail address. It is sure refreshing to read about the country we all love. I spent the major portion of my life in Panama. Currently, I live in sunny Florida. Jacksonville, Florida to be exact and I'm doing something similar to what I used to do on the docks.
