Great Website!!!! Well anyone who graduated with me or knew me write me please!!!! I still wish I was in Panama. I really miss the school and all the cool things that we could do that no other kids could do in the States. Hell, Panama was like freedom you can do anything. Wow! As I was surfing the net, actually looking to see if the Tropic Times (former USSOUTHCOM newspaper), had a site, I ran into this one! It's great to read the stories, especially from folks who were there and left so long ago...yes, Panama always stays inside you! To all who haven't been back in a while, I was there in May of this year (2000). Things have really changed in many ways -- no more yacht club, and the causeway is completely revamped (for those of you BHS students in my generation-- you know what I'm talking about). However, the basic things that made it a wonderful place to live - the beautiful green trees, the rainforest, the ocean, the Kuna Indians and the "Chiva buses" are all still there! Thanks for putting this site together -- it is truly a walk down memory lane. By the way, if anyone does know if the Tropic Times has an archive or a website, please email me at vitorb@worldnetla.net. Gracias!
