Just wondering how "T" Bird Pattison is doing thede days. I worked with him at Tropic Test Center, in the early 80's and as I recall he had a rock band that ruled the zone.

just stumbled on to this great web site... Most of you know me as Cindy Toda's little sister... anyway...I am currently looking for Xan-Marie Eberenz. Hello to anybody that used to swim at the Los Rios Pool, and used to go to Los Rios Elementary School... oh by the way does anybody know the where abouts of Lisa Sasso???? Anyway.... I hear about the changes going on in Panama right now and it makes me sad to know that the land where i grew up has been demolished and turned into some railroad track system for people to transport their chickens. I will never forget the Zone. Los Rios, Corozal, Cardenas and the rest of it I can still see it clearly. Those were the good old days!

Looking for any information on an old Army radio/communications station. I was at Gamboa two weeks ago and was taken to the site, which is long-abandoned and overgrown by the jungle. It's about 200 yards east of Buoy 71 on the eastern shore of Gatun Lake. You go up about 60 concrete steps, walk 250 yards and there it is. From the Gamboa bridge it's three or four miles up the like towards the Atlantic side. Anybody know anything about it--the name, when operational, when deactivated? I'd be grateful.
