Slick wet pavements beneath my feet
Rainbow color flowers abound

Darkness falls like a dark curtain
Is it time for bed
Tis true it is magic
The beaming smile of a small child
Rain on the dark horizon
Smell the dampness in the sweet air
Flowers perk up and stretch
Squish-squish-squish-squash
Its fun playing in the Rain
Memories of another day

God bless all here... just checking in on the old clubhouse and reading the postings. It seems like a long time ago that I was living the life of Riley in the old Canal Zone. Yes, time marches on... Awhile back I reflected on TIME... here is what I wrote:
“Time as elusive as grains of sand flowing through an hourglass. What you think will never pass does. What we wait with great anticipation arrives all too soon. What is left are memories like snapshots in a forgotten photo album of the passing time. In my poems and stories, I try to capture a feeling of time as it relates to what I see in ordinary things. My work is my personal record in which I attempt to hold on a bit longer to fleeting time. It is this passing time we all live, cherish or dread somewhere in time.”
Well, it is getting late... I gotta go. See you all on the flip side. Take care and you all come back now... You hear!

Hey everyone,
Just letting everyone know that I am doing great and do not be strangers drop a line. Just bought a house on VA Beach and enjoying life as it comes. Well even though I live on VA beach its no match for Panama. I would give anything to go back and PLay ball again for BHS, go to those awsome beaches we had, all night parties the city really never sleeps, laid back envirmoent, the mountains in Chirique, fishing, and I could go on forever because Panama is a mystical place where dreams and memories are never forgotten. We all go back sooner or later we always go back. Well see you guys

I was unfortunate few that had to leave panama pretty early in my life (13 yrs old) however I will never forget the small nuances that panama had. I still visit there almost every year but every it becomes harder to see all of the changes that are taking place. Went to CHS from 83-87. Looking for all of my old friends! Dannie Kay, Victor, Sam, Gene, Bill, and many more. Where are all of the JROTC people now? Lived on Davis and Guilick(espanar). Spent a lot of time at Ft Sherman on the beaches.
