Can anyone tell me what might be the consequences of traveling in Panama without a U.S. passport? OR Can you tell me what might happen in entering or exiting Panama without a passport. I will have proof of support, my original birth certificate, a tourist card and my driver's license. Will this be enough? Know anyone who has traveled in Panama without a passport? Thanks. If you are going to be in Orlando, please be sure to visit the Tolstoy
studios to hear a very popular teen club CZ band between 69 and 72, the
"TRUTH" on Friday, August 10th at 11 AM.
The entire original band will be playing back together again for the first
time. They are also available to play a couple songs during break in the
evening of the reunion if someone wants to ask the other 60's CZband who will
be performing there if they can play during their breaks. The members of the
"TRUTH" worked very hard to pull together this reunion in a short time, so
please be sure to come and see them.
I am working on the exact address of the Tolstoy Studios. Please share this
info with the other lists and other friends. Here is the info I have on the
band members and the locations where they are from:
The Truth Reunion members that will be in O'town: Tom Baker-Drums Tampa
Florida, Simon Vizuette-Vocals Panama R.P., Leslie Gray-Lead Guitar Phoenix
Arizona, John Carney-Bass Guitar Austin Texas, Willi Robles-Guitar Orlando
Florida, Vince O'connor- Keyboards Los Angeles California, Eric
Acosta-Engineer Nashville Tennessee.
The Truth will also be available to set in for a song or two at the
reunion dance if the other bands will let us, but that is iffy so we wont
know till we are there.
The Truth will also be making plans in O'town to play at the reunion next
year 2002, its the 1972 30 year reunion.
PS: If anyone has any original recordings of the Truth in Panama, please
contact me. We would like to put it on the CZbands.com website.

I am looking for resources to find family lineage. My GGgrandfather supposedly died as a result of a tropical disease he recieved while working on the Panama Canal (1895-1900?). Does anyone know what resources I might use to find empl oyment lists, death certs, or payroll information regarding this period in history?

Thanks in advance for the help.
