I've enjoyed this trip down memory lane.
I went to B.H.S. my first three years of high school (1957-60)and then, sadly, left for the "States".
We lived on Albrook A.F.B. but the years have made a lot of details fuzzy.
Some memories never fade...dancing at the Teen Club, eating empanadas at the cafeteria, riding the shuttle bus, singing Christmas carols in Bermuda shorts and the Friday night late movie.
I've met some Zonies here in Florida, that's how I found this website.
If you send me an e-mail, I can't promise to remember you-but I would enjoy hearing from you just the same

Hello all! I had to tell anyone who doesn't know about it that I bought a book the other day and it is about a serial rapist-killer that used to live in Panama. I was very shocked since I had never heard about it. The name of the boo k is Stranger In The Family. I will not mention the names of the family since they deserve their respect and I have much sympathy for them. I know it must be very difficult for them. The moral of this message is you can never tell what someone you know will do when they get older. I hope everyone is doing fine out there! Anyone remember me or my sister Dee Dee House from CHS please write. I have been looking for Richard Ned for years and still can't seem to locate him. He was in the class of 1979 a t CHS but both of us moved to Ft Knox in 1977 and graduated there. I went to 7th-10th grade at CHS. Also my sister is still looking for Tina Archuleta or one of her siblings. Have a great day!!!

My mother, then Mary Sue Barnett, held her first teaching post at the Instituto Panamericano from September 1946- September 1948. She has never been back. I am bringing her to Panama in early November, and she wants to visit the schoo l. Is there anyone out there who knew her then?
